'Barbarism Begins At Home' didn't originally get a commercial release in the UK. However in January 1985, two different specially pressed 12" promos were sent to DJs shortly before the release of the "Meat Is Murder" album. 'Barbarism Begins At Home' didn't originally get a commercial release in the UK. However in January 1985, two different specially pressed 12" promos were sent to DJs shortly before the release of the "Meat Is Murder" album. Both promo 12"s were numbered RTT171 but one featured the album version only, while the other had that and a shorter version edited down to 3:48.
