JOHN MAYALL Blues From Laurel Canyon (1968 UK first issue 12-track stereo LP, front laminated gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics inside & WITHOUT die cut mono/stereo hole on the back. This is probably the John Mayall equivalent of a black& gold Please Please Me as it would have had mere weeks in the shops before being replaced with the normal 'first'. How many were produced, we don't know, but in thirty plus years of trading we have not seen many at all SKL4972)

JOHN MAYALL Blues From Laurel Canyon (1968 UK first batch press label variant 12-track stereo vinyl LP, on the unboxed Decca label with J/T tax code at the bottom. The front laminated gatefold sleeve has the lyrics printed inside & is WITHOUT the die cut mono/stereo hole. The spine is clearly marked 'stereo', where the later pressed punch hole sleeves were dual purpose [red bordered inner for mono, blue bordered inner for stereo]. See 'more info' for condition...
