non-deep groove mono LP, on a blue & silver 'reel & mic'
Riverside label with 'Bill Grauer Productions Inc' text at the
bottom. This was Wes' first live album from his golden bop
period, recorded at Tsubo in Berkeley, California on June the
25th that year with Wynton Kelly, Johnny Griffin, Paul
Chambers & Jimmy Cobb, pasted laminate picture sleeve. The
sleeve shows just a little minor paper scuffing to one or two
edges or very mildring wear & the vinyl is a clean VG/VG+.
There is one small visible scratch on 'Cariba' which has little
effect on play & otherwise performs like a dream RLP434)

for the 1961 UK 7-track mono LP on Riverside, with custom rough
textured white labels hand annotated to one side with artist, title &
intended catalogue number, & hand scratched cat. number in the
run-outs, retail front laminated flipback picture sleeve. Also stars
James Clay, Victor Feldman, Sam Jones & Louis Hayes. Very few of
these were produced, made purely to test the sound quality & never
sold to the public. The vinyl is clean & plays to an excellent standard
[the sound quality is glorious], albeit with a few faint pops here &
