Roy Hamilton was known as 'The Golden Voice' and forged a hugely successful career with Epic Records in the 50s and early 60s as an R&B and balladsinger. This is the only CD collection that properly covers Hamilton's post-Epic recordings, featuring the best of his output during the 60s for the MGM, RCA Victor and AGP labels as well as a rare one-off for Capitol. Many of the songs feature the production prowess of legends Chips Moman & Tommy Cogbill, Bert Keyes and Leiber & Stoller.
