LAUTREC Mean Gasoline (Extremely rare 1978 UK white label
vinyl 7" for the single, also including Shoot Out The Lights. This
is one of the hardest and possibly rarest pressings to come out
of the NWOBHM scene, this was the only release by the band.
Featuring Reuben Archer on vocals [who joined Lionheart with
ex-Iron Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton], Laurence Archer on
guitar, Steve Holbrook of Frome on keyboards, Simon Riddler of
Shepton Mallet on bass and Steve Jones on drums, the group
would have a number of line-up changes and later became
known as Stampede. Both labels are plain white without any
writing, with 'STS001 A1' & 'B1' hand scratched matrices and
comes in a plain die-cut paper sleeve. I hear you asking, but
what is the condition? Well there are a just a few light surface
marks, after play testing we can confirm these are only cosmetic
and have no effect on play. A must have item for any New Wave
Of Heavy Metal collection)
