JUDITH DURHAM The Judith Durham Story - Colours Of My Life
(2003 UK 384-page softback book, a fully authorised biography
written by Graham Simpson for the 'golden voice of The Seekers'
& first released in 1994 in Australia only. Released in the UK for
the first time to celebrate Judith's 60th, Judith's story takes her
from her childhood in Australia to her singing roots & the fateful
journey to England which launched her & The Seekers to
stardom. The book details the painful process of going solo & the
misunderstandings & heartache that this decision provoked with
the rest of the band. The emotional core of the book is Judith's
relationship with her husband, jazz pianist Ron Edgeworth, who
died of Motor Neuron Disease. Judith's story is moving &
life-affirming & a celebrated read - a fine tribute to a remarkable
talent, this copy remains in Excellent condition with the original
shop price sticker attached)
