JACKIE LOMAX Is This What You Want (2010 UK Stereo issue limited edition 18-track CD album digitally remastered by a dedicated engineering team at the world famous Abbey Road studios - Jackie Lomax was an old friend from Liverpool with an extremely soulful voice. One of the first acts signed to the label, his debut single was the George Harrison composition 'Sour Milk Sea'. Few artists can boast three Beatles on his album but Jackie could as John was the only absentee. Nicky Hopkins and Eric Clapton also graced the album with the material recorded in the UK with noted session musicians Hal Blaine, Joe Osborn and Larry Knechtel appearing on those tracks recorded in the US.
