FREDDIE HUBBARD High Blues Pressure (1969 US 6-track LP
mastered in the curious experiment that was 'CSG Stereo', which to
the uninitiated means very little, but was actually an attempt to enable
a stereo LP to be played back in mono without anyartificial
reinforcement of the centre channel, which is what normally happens.
This experiment was mostly confined to promotional LPs destined for
Mono AM Radio Stations, but as can be seen here, there were some
commercial releases. The frontlaminated pasted picture sleeve shows
just a little corner scuffing & the vinyl remains excellen with little sign
of play SC1501)
