Contact Field Orchestra is the result of American producer, Damon Aaron, finding some strange looking tapes in a box at an estate sale in Altadena. The tapes turned out to contain field recordings of a turn-of-the century orchestra of ex-miners, recorded almost entirely with hand-made instruments & contact microphones!
