CHAMPION JACK DUPREE From New Orleans To Chicago
(Scarce original 1966 UK 14-track MONO LP on the dark red
and silver unboxed deep groove Decca label. A musical and
historical journey of the blues on record. Joining Champion
Jack on this outing is a stellar cast made up of John Mayall
[harmonica], Eric Clapton [guitar], Tony McPhee [guitar],
Malcolm Pool [bass], Keef Harley [drums] and Bill Shortt
[washboard]! The front laminate picture sleeve displays
minimal wear with just some light ringwear and a few creases
to the laminate. There is only slight age & handling
disolouration to the non-laminated back but still looks really
nice. The labels display moderate spindle marks and the vinyl
itself displays some light hairlines with no real impact on
play. A wonderful example of this over 50 years of age
pressing! LK4747)
