BRIAN DAVISON'S EVERY WHICH WAY Go Placidly (Extremely Rare
1970 UK promotional 2-track 7" for the single taken from the highly
sought after self-titled LP, pressed on the pink scroll label with rough
textured, intact 4-prong push-out centre, backed with 'The Light' also
taken from the eponymous album. This very unusual find is a
prog-rock related rarity for sure, following the break-up of The Nice,
drummer Brian Davison along with co-members; Graham Bell,
Geoffrey Peach, Alan Cartwright and John Hedley created the low-key
Every Which Way. This is a very seldom listed or mentioned single
taken from the band's full length, not to mention being an even
tougher to unearth edition as it's the promo issue, as well as being
buried further in obscurity by its labels being misprinted with the Artist
credited as 'Every Witch Way' [a pretty cool mistake actually!], also
states 'Promotional Copy - Not For Resale' on the labels, with plain
white sleeve. The vinyl has clearly been played sparingly judging by
the clean labels and lack of any real significant surface scuffs. An
essential collection talking point for any Brit-prog, 'The Nice' and
related or Charisma completist - 'Nice', no pun intended, honest! BD1)
