JOE TURNER Lipstick, Powder & Paint (Rare Rock N Roll
Scorcher 1957 UK first press 7" single on the black & gold
London label with triangular centre intact, the first recorded
version of the Jesse Stone penned tune, as featured in the film
Shake, Rattle & Roll, backed with the great 'Rock A While'. The
vinyl is clean & grades Very Good - there are no tears or writing
either side of the label & the vinyl exhibits some light surface
scuffs & faint hairlines both sides, understandable after sixty odd
years - playback reveals superb sound clarity with no jumps, just
a little minor background surface at the beginning & end &
should be played on its intended mono setting. Housed in the
period London Records die-cut company sleeve, this is a highly
collectable Rock & Roll double-sider & treble the price when
