As told by Art and Laurie Pepper, Straight Life is an honest and wrenching portrayal of the musician's life and addictions, simply a must read, and includes extensive black & white photographs. The dust jacket has some obvious wear and a couple of small tears, but to its edges only. The inside pages have no major blemishes. The discography part has been neatly annotated by its previous owner, a former big band leader and Nems Enterprise managing director, and together with its autograph makes for a rather unique one-off artefact.
