The record is beautifully recorded & varied, with Morricone-style wordless vocal numbers, dramatic chutzpah jazz, western saloon numbers, dreamy Bossa club tunes, hard Bop, ambient melodrama & amazing suspenseful fuzz-guitar/twang, unique pasted laminate picture sleeve with die-cut company inner. The cover is practically Near Mint but there are a couple of pen annotations by key tracks on the back. Features the stirring music of Angelo Francesco Lavagnino, led by an Orchestra directed by Pier Luigi Urbini, for Orson Welles' misunderstood film masterpiece, otherwise known as Chimes At Midnight, unique pocket gatefold picture sleeve with flipback spine. The cover is made from thin paper stock & consequently there is a little edge scuffing. ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Tabu, I (Impossibly Rare 1963 Italian-only 18-track LP, featuring Angelo Francesco Lavagnino's stirring score from the soundtrack to the infamous mondo movie. This long lost score makes exceptional use of melodrama, moods &exotic instrumentation for a travelogue film directed by Romolo Marcellini, otherwise known as Taboos Of The World. The English version was narrated by Vincent Price & edited in the same shockumentary style of 1962’s Mondo Cane. The textured picture sleeve is a stunning & unique design; the cover grades Excellent, with rich, vivid colours & just a little ring wear. The heavyweight vinyl, with rough textured black Cam labels, is Excellent with very few signs of play.
