2PAC Thug Life | Volume 1 (25th Anniversary 2019
UK/EU 10-track LP pressed on 180-gram Black Vinyl.
The only studio album from hip-hop collective Thug
Life, Volume 1 stands as a crucial chapter in the
legacy of Tupac Shakur. Originally released in 1994 the album
featured 2Pac alongside Big Syke, Mopreme, Macadoshis, and
The Rated R, capturing raw West Coast street poetry laced
with defiance and introspection. Notable tracks include the
anthemic "How LongWill They Mourn Me?", "Pour Out A Little
Liquor" (also featured in Above the Rim), the haunting "Cradle
to the Grave", and the unforgettable "Str8 Ballin'." Originally
planned as a longer release, several tracks were shelved by
Interscope due to controversy surrounding gangsta rap at the
time - only ten tracks made the final cut, enhancing its
intensity and focus. This 180-gram black vinyl reissue
delivers the album in its purest form, complete with
Eastside/Westside album side titles. Picture sleeve with hype
sticker, factory sealed)
