Live Killers is Queen's first full live album, originally released in 1979 and recorded during the European leg of the band's Jazz tour between January and March of that year. Drawing from multiple performances across the tour, the album captures Queen at a point where their studio precision and onstage power were fully aligned. The record spans material from across the band's catalogue up to that point, pairing arena-scale anthems with deeper cuts and extended live arrangements. Performances of "We Will Rock You", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Bohemian Rhapsody", and "We Are The Champions" sit alongside fan favourites such as "Death On Two Legs" and "Sheer Heart Attack", reflecting the breadth of the band's late-1970s setlists. Notably, Live Killers was self-produced by the band and became the first Queen album to be mixed at their own Mountain Studios in Montreux, Switzerland.
