CABARET VOLTAIRE The Crackdown (1986 UK issue of the 1983 9-track vinyl LP released on the classic Virgin red & green labels, including the singles Just Fascination and Crackdown. Widely regarded as one of the group’s finest moments, The Crackdown marked a significant turning point for the pioneering Sheffield outfit, blending their earlier industrial experimentation with a more refined electronic funk edge that would go on to influence countless artists in the years to follow. Housed in the glossy picture sleeve featuring the distinctive cover artwork, the sleeve shows just a little light edgewear and faint creasing from storage, while the vinyl remains in Excellent condition with only a few minor hairlines and signs of careful play – none of which affect playback.
