MIKE OLDFIELD Hergest Ridge (2010 UK/EU Deluxe Edition 3-disc [2CD/1DVD] set - Originally released in 1974, 'Hergest Ridge' was the follow-up to 1973's groundbreaking debut ['Tubular Bells']. A stunning new 2010 mix highlights the nuances of the work, alongside the bonus recordings 'In Dulci Jubilo [for Maureen]' & 'Spanish Tune'. This 3-disc edition comes expanded with the 1974 stereo mix and demo versions of Parts 1 & 2; plus a Bonus DVD including a brand new 5.1 mix. Complete with the extensive picture booklet inlay plus the hype-stickered PVC slipcase, issued within the fold-out digipak picture sleeve which displays new artwork [Oldfield was never happy with the album's original artwork and so his team redesigned it using a Google Earth image]! The case shows a little shelfwear/yellowing to edges whilst the discs look barely played)
