COUNT BASIE Kansas City Suite (2010 UK issue of the classic 1961 10-track stereo LP, originally released on Roulette and featuring the legendary Count Basie Orchestra performing a full suite of compositions specially written and arranged by jazz icon Benny Carter. A swinging big band tribute to Basie’s Kansas City roots, the album highlights the ensemble's trademark tightness and flair, with standout solo contributions and Carter’s sophisticated orchestrations throughout. Housed in a high-quality fully laminated picture sleeve faithfully reproducing the original early '60s artwork. The sleeve remains in stunning Near Mint condition with barely a trace of wear, while the vinyl is equally impressive, showing little evidence of play and remaining in Near Mint condition also PPANSR52056)
