Scary Monsters - Purple Vinyl

DAVID BOWIE Scary Monsters (Super rare 1980 10-track LP pressed on Purple Vinyl - a factory custom pressing dating from 1980. With finished RCA labels and correct hand-scratched matrix numbers/info: BOWLP2-A-3 B3C - 'I Can't Think...' and BOWLP2-B-3 A1AX '...of anything'. Both sides have a 'Townhouse' recording studios inscription. This is one of only a handful made and was obtained from a former employee of the RCA Records pressing facility based in Tyne & Wear that operated between 1970 and 1981. Picture sleeve. Undoubtedly, one of the most sought after worldwide Bowie collectables and the first copy we've every had the pleasure of offering for sale. Highly Recommended. Sleeve:

The sleeve shows some wear along the top edge and a thumbnail tear to the bottom right-hand corner. However, the sleeve is exactly the same as the regular black vinyl version and could easily be replaced.

The vinyl is graded Very Good with some light scuffs/hairlines/minor scratches visible, nothing that would affect play.
