SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON Down & Out Blues (1987 US issue of the debut 1959 12-track LP, firmly placed in the Blues 'Hall Of Fame'. Includes the early Checker singles, Don't Start Me To Talkin' [Sonny's classic first recording] & Dissatisfied, with backing from the likes of Muddy Waters, Otis Spann & Willie Dixon. The picture sleeve replicates Don Bronstein's sombre photography of a disheveled homeless man on the cover [Sonny died just a year after it was released] & grades Excellent with minimal edge wear. The vinyl appears Near Mint CH-9257)
