ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK The Raid (2015 UK/EU limited edition Mondo exclusive 27-track LP pressed on 140-gram Green & Red Swirl Vinyl comprising the ORIGINAL Indonesian score by Aria Prayogi & Fajar Yuskemal for the 2011 action thriller film written, directed & edited by Gareth Evans [prior to it being replaced with a score by Mike Shinoda and Joseph Trapanese]. Full of muscular electronics and battering percussion, this score feels like a full workout. Electric guitars provide a raw edge when the music reaches a post-rock crescendo, while ethereal textures illustrate the insane world the film takes place in; these elements come together to bring you one of the finest action scores the world has ever seen. The heavyweight tip-on, case-bound gatefold jacket [printed on textured Galtex Prima card] has a little evidence of storage within but comes with the 12" x 12" art print displaying Chris Weston's artwork and the exclusive folded insert with liner notes by Gareth Edwards, Aria Prayogi & Fajar Yuskemal while the eye-catching vinyl remains in barely played condition)
