JOHN CARPENTER Halloween (Rare original 1983 US 11-track Varese Sarabande label LP pressed on Translucent Blue Vinyl, visible when held to the light. John Carpenter's iconic soundtrack to his own 1978 slasher movie, which raised the bar for both horror soundtracks and movies in it's time. The picture sleeve on this copy does show some age from storage, which is graded as Very Good, and the vinyl displays a handful of minor paper scuffs to show for it's 40 years in the wild, which following a play test produce nothing more than an ambient hum in the quiest of sections. This is the first time we have seen this variant of this soundtrack here, and may be the only time we will for the foreseeable future. Essential to any soundtrack collection)
