CHARLES MINGUS Mingus, Mingus, Mingus, Mingus, Mingus (Scarce 1965 USA first edition 7-track stereo LP on the orange label with black rim & 'Impulse' printed four times, (and VAN GELDER stamp on the run-outs on both sides) housed in a front laminated pasted gatefold picture sleeve with a gold EMI import sticker on the back. The personnel includes Eric Dolphy, Charles Mariano, Booker Ervin, Dick Hafer, Jerome Richardson, Eddie Preston, Richard Williams, Rolf Ericson, Britt Woodman, Quentin Jackson, Don Butterfield, Jaki Byard, Jay Berliner, Walter Perkins, Dannie Richmond and Charles himself on bass & occasional piano. The cover is Excellent with light wear/creasing to spine & the vinyl is super clean & in Excellent to Near Mint condition with little evidence of play. The first copy we've ever seen! A-54)
