ELVIN JONES Elvin! (Rare 1963 UK 1st issue 7-track Mono LP on the rough textured blue 'mic & reels' label, front lamainated picture sleeve with pasted rear slick. Recorded in 1961 and 1962 and featuring Jones playing with his brothers, trumpeter Thad (here playing cornet) and pianist Hank, along with tenor saxophonist Frank Foster, flautist Frank Wess and bassist Art Davis. The sleeve and vinyl both easily acheive an Excellent grade - first copy we've ever seen too! RLP409)
