KATE BUSH Cathy (Extremely rare 1986 UK 7" x 10" high quality hessian bound hardback photobook by John Carder Bush - Kate's Brother - with a signed photograph of Kate. The book features a superb selection of previously unpublished black & white photographs of Kate as a child around eight years old. Each photo is superbly mounted with the prior pages die cut with annotations from John about the picture & Kate at the time. The whole is protected by an outer peach card slipcase. This copy is unique in that it has 9" x 6" black & white photograph of Kate, attached to the page opposite the book dedication, which has been a DEDICATED & AUTOGRAPHED BY KATE in blue marker pen - Incredible!)

Privately pressed by a Kent printer, this was originally going to be the first of a series of three books, depicting Kate first as a child, then a teenager, then as an adult.

The project was abandoned when her brother realised just how much Kate treasured her privacy & did not want to cause her upset by publishing further photos. This was the first & only one of the series to see the light of day.

The cover of book has a little discolouraton along the spine and front edge, but the inner pages are in near as new condition, with the addition of the incredible signed photograph.

The outer peach cardboard slipcase has some edge scuffing from shelf storage and light creases on the spine and indentations on the front.

A fascinating view through the looking glass at young a Cathy Bush growing up in & around Old Bexley.
