LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin (Rare 1969 first Japanese issue green & blue Atlantic label 9-track STEREO vinyl LP pressed by Nippon Grammophon, housed in a gatefold pasted picture sleeve with lyrics printed on the inside, 'Art Rock' logo on the frontand band members photograph across the centre on the reverse. The sleeve has a unique printing error where the band members' names have been mixed up under the picture, with only Jimmy Page captioned correctly! This example also including therare apology card from Grammophon showing the corrections to the band members' names on the sleeve, and the rare original obi-strip SMT-1067)

The first issue of the groups debut album in Japan, has the orange text on the front and has the addition of the 'Art Rock' logo.
Unlike the UK pressing, this has a gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics printed in English and details about the band in Japanese text.

The back has images of the band members, with a unique printing error where the band members' names have been mixed up under the picture, with Jimmy Page the only one captioned correctly.

Pressed by Nippon Grammophon with green & blue Atlantic label design.

As mentioned above, this includes the rare correction slip from Grammophon, apologising for the error and lists the correct name order.

And finally, the rare obi-strip, which is often missing. With the '¥1,800' price point matching that which is printed on the reverse of the sleeve.

Condition
The sleeve displays some light general age-related wear with some light discoloration mostly to the back. There is some light foxing on the inside of the gatefold, but nothing too excessive, and has no splits or rips.

The correction slip has light signs of age, with minimal wear and no creases or tears.

The obi strip remains complete including the 'C.Z Sale' voucher on the back. This has been folded by a previous owner and was stored within the sleeve in an attempt to protect it. There are a couple of thumbnail tiny splits at each end, but is a miracle to find complete after fifty years. We have left this separate and not put back on the sleeve, as not to cause any damage.



The labels remains very clean with very little signs of spindle marks, in fact the vinyl remains in a fantastic 'near as new' condition with very little, if any, signs of play.

An amazing example and the first complete copy we have ever had the pleasure to offer, a must have for any collection.
