Both parts are housed in their respective front laminated flipback picture sleeves. The covers are in beautiful condition & easily grade Excellent with clean panels, secure flipbacks, no tears or writing & the odd minor corner scuff over the years. All three sides of the vinyl have been professionally cleaned & play tested & appear very clean. Side 2 & 3 grade a strong Excellent with an incredible sound stage [Side 4 is blank], no major hiccups or distortion whilst Side 1 grades Excellent with a couple of faint clicks on occasion. Note: there is a small hairline at the very end of the first movement just before the run-out groove causing a few soft clicks on rotation & no jumps. Mahler's poignant fairwell to the world in the final fourth movement fades out beautifully with no issues. This is an Excellent example overall & a prized pressing that will still be studied in years to come, with mint copies currently fetching a four figure sum ASD596/ASDS597)
