THE LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA conducted by KENNETH ALWYN 1812 Overture (Rare 1958 UK first issye stereo vinyl LP, on the deep groove unboxed & wideband Decca label with the 'Original Recording By' label print along the top. Also features performances of 'Capriccio Italien' & 'Marche Slave', housed in the first edition front laminated picture sleeve with 'Ju 58/8' dated scalloped flipbacks with a 'full frequency stereophonic sound' blue border on the back & matching inner. Thesleeve displays some minor wear with some laminate lift/peeling on the front and a small section failed, the back has a small section of the bottom flipback missing. The labels remains very clean with just a couple of light spindle marks, whilst the vinyl has only a couple of very light hairlines & scuffs. Although not mint this is still a nice example and the first we have ever seen SXL2001)
