CURTIS FULLER The Opener (Limited Edition 2010 US 6-track MONO double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters' 'Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue' series, originally released in 1957. This was Fuller's wonderful debut solo album for Blue Note, expertly backed by Hank Mobley, Bobby Timmons, Paul Chambers & Art Taylor & now sounding better than ever. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve & vinyl discs are Near Mint MMBLP-1567)
