AMBROSE SLADE Beginnings (2010 UK limited edition [750 copies only] Record Collector Rare Vinyl Series issue of the 12-track 1969 LP, the debut longplayer from Noddy, Dave, Jim and Don, better known as Slade - this recording dates from their pre-success period when they were a dynamite band struggling in Midlands clubs, delivering powerhouse versions of contemporary classics, including 'Knockin Nails Into My House' [Idle Race], 'Martha My Dear' [Beatles] and 'Journey To The CentreOf The Mind' [Amboy Dukes], picture sleeve with fold-out sleevenotes insert and certificate of authenticity. Both the sleeve & vinyl are Near Mint
