Before Jamaica established its own recording industry the island danced to a different beat, namely raw R&B and blues and a dash of swing from the US - hear the origins of ska with this selection of hard-to-find American '45s from Louis Jordan, Gene Ammons, Floyd Dixon, Donnie Elbert and more. The sleeve, which is still in its opened shrinkwrap, shows very little wear, the vinyl too is superb and appears barely played FVDV087)
