MUDDY WATERS Muddy Waters Sings The Songs Of Big Bill Broonzy (Rare 1964 UK first press 10-track LP on the red & yellow R&B Series label, featuring a wonderful set of recordings, licensed from Chess Records, in which Waters pays tribute to theman who helped get his career started, cleverly choosing to revamp Broonzy's songs into a classic electric blues style rather than imitate the originals. Look out for explosive takes on 'When I Get to Drinkin' & 'The Mopper's Blues'. The sleeve is Excellent with a little minor ring wear & discolouration to the reverse with a slight notch to the opening edge whilst the vinyl too is Excellent with very few signs of play NPL28048)
