ART PEPPER Among Friends (Autographed 1978 US 8-track LP, one of a series of comeback albums recorded after Art had spent years in drug rehabilitation. Now with a new marriage & sense of purpose he proceeded to record as if there were no tomorrow. The difference in these later recordings, compared to his early work, is the amount of passion & soul driving every note, as if any might be the last he'd ever play! The vinyl is Excellent & the back of the picture sleeve sports a very raresignature from Art Pepper, dedicating the record to its one former owner with a 'my best - always' message & 'Art Pepper -1979-' in black marker pen. The signature remains strong & vivd & ideal for framing IP-7718)
