BLOODCUM Death By A... Clothes Hanger (Rare complete 1989 Mexican issue of the 1988 10-track LP, the only full-length album by this little known late 80s Bay Area Thrash Metal band featuring bassist John Araya, who just happens to be the brother of none other than legendary Slayer vocalist Tom Araya. The more obscure and most difficult to find pressing of this excursion into classic LA Thrash meets Speed Metal incorporating hardcore elements, resulting in a hard hitting crossover and quite frankly bonkers [you read the album title right?], even rude at times assault! Clearly the more underground inclined of the Araya brothers here, even the sides are entitled Side Two & Side Six 7/8. The picture sleeve focuses on its obscene moniker and remains in near 'as new' condition, remarkably still neatly in its open shrinkwrap from new, certainly atypical for the era and this territory. The vinyl is in barely played condition and comes complete with near mint lyric insert and fold-out colour band poster! This is one of those extreme metal collectors must-have obscurities, downright wicked! AM014)
