WILHELM BACKHAUS with THE VIENNA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA conducted by HANS SCHMIDT-ISSERSTEDT Beethoven: Piano Concerto No.1 / Piano Concerto No.2 (1960 UK 6-track STEREO LP on the deep groove wideband Decca 'ffss' label with 'original recording by...'perimeter text, front laminated scalloped flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve is graded as EX-, with light foxing & a single letter catalogue annotation to the reverse, with secure flipbacks, no tearsand few signs of age to the front. The vinyl has just a couple of light surface scuffs with little sign of spindlewear leaving it Excellent; playback confirms just a little ambient sound during the lead in, but nothing to disturb the fantastic dynamics that this series is rightly coveted for SXL2178)
