IRON MAIDEN Piece Of Mind (Rare UK 9-track red label vinyl LP test pressing for the groups fourth studio album, their first to feature Nicko McBrain, including Flight Of Icarus and The Trooper. These test pressing were produced in extremely small numbers for senior personnel and/or the band to check the sound quality of the potential finished product before the initiation of a full production run with most being destroyed. This example comes in a poly lined plain sleeve with the catalogue number 'EMA800', 'Test Pressing Ony, Not For Production' and the date '12/1/87' all hand written in blue point pen, the labels have no writting or markings. The dead wax/run-out groove has the Utopia logo along with 'EMA 800 A 1U-1-3' & 'EMA 800 B-1U-1-3' stamped matrices. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & play tested. Graded as Very Good, there are some minor cosmetic marks on both sides, Side B has more marks and does skip at the end of The Trooper and begining of Still Life. Although not mint, this is still an extremely sought after item!)
