ALAN SKIDMORE Morning Rise - Fortune (1977 German-only 4-track LP - typical of Euro Jazz releases of the seventies, it's not obvious what exactly the name of the album or artist is, but the great Alan Skidmore is very much the star of the show here, although often matched by the equally impressive Gerd Dudek, also on soprano & tenor sax, with well rounded backing from Adelhard Roidinger on bass & Lala Kovacev, drums. The picture sleeve shows very little of its age & the vinyl appears Near Mint)
