Nothing But The Blues - 1st

HERB ELLIS Nothing But The Blues (Rare first issue 1957 US 8-track deep groove mono LP on the black & silver Verve label with the 'trumpeter' logo, also starring Stan Getz, Roy Eldridge, Ray Brown & Stan Levey, pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve has an small areas of paper loss to the top right corner to both the front & reverse with a 1.5 inch split in the top seam nearest the opening and paper loss to the bottom of the spine, otherwise shows light overall wear and has a recording date annotation to the reverse. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & has small areas of light cosmetic wear due to a reaction to the inner with just a few light hairlines whilst the labels reveale just a few light spindle traces leaving it VG+/EX- - a nicely priced copy of a hard to find item MGV-8252)
