Black Celebration

DEPECHE MODE Black Celebration (Very vintage, original, Mai 1986 German Gold Sales Award for sales of more than 250,00 copies of the Mute/Interchord album in Germany. Awarded by the German music industry body, BVPW [Bundesverband Der Phonographischen Wirtschaft E.V]". Measuring 17.5" x 19", the disc and plaque are laid to a dark red fabric, finished with a gold coloured frame and perspex glazing. Showing some wear and tear to the frame and perspex over the years, the back liner also carries some water stain, not evident to the front. None of these features detract from a piece that would only ever have been produced in single numbers and largely kept in-house. The perspex is easily replaced but we never encourage the replacement of original components. Leave it vintage and original!)
