ALBERT AYLER In Greenwich Village (1968-72 US second issue of the 1967 4-track stereo LP, on the black label with red border "impulse!" & "abc" in a multicolour box. Includes 'For John Coltrane' & 'Change Has Come' recorded at the Village Theatre on the 26th of February 1967 alongside Joel Friedman [cello], Beaver Harris [drums], Alan Silva & Bill Folwell alternating on bass, plus 'Truth Is Marching In' & 'Our Prayer' at the Village Vanguard concert on the 18th of December 1966, with brother Donald [trumpet], Michel Sampson [violin], Beaver Harris [drums], Bill Folwell & Henry Grimes on bass. The gatefold picture sleeve is front laminated & internally pasted, & shows only a few faint scuffs & the odd patch of discolouring inside. The vinyl grades VG+/EX- with just a little minor scuffing not affecting play AS-9155)
