CANNONBALL ADDERLEY Somethin' Else (1971 US 5-track stereo LP on the Blue Note / United Artists label. Cut in 1958, this album is an absolute masterclass in modern jazz. It features Adderley's smooth bop style in the Charlie Parker mold pitched with Miles Davis' effortlessly cool brand of jazz, plus a formidable backing band comprised of Hank Jones, Sam Jones & Art Blakey. Autumn Leaves and Love For Sale are among the most beautiful and contemporary renditions ever recorded! The pasted picture sleeve shows light ringwear whilst the vinyl has light signs of play and is Excellent BST81595)
