CHARLIE CHRISTIAN The Immortal Charley Christian (1968 UK 5-track LP, recorded live in New York at jam sessions at Minton's Playhouse & Monroe's Uptown House in 1941, these historic tapes feature the young modernists Charlie Christian, Thelonious Monk, Kenny Clarke, Joe Guy, Nick Finton & Teddy Hill's Band in some of the earliest examples of Bebop in the making. The front laminated flipback picture sleeve shows just a little ring wear & the vinyl is Excellent with little sign of play SOC1036)
