Inspired Abandon - rainbow box label

LAWRENCE BROWN'S ALL-STARS with JOHNNY HODGES Inspired Abandon (Late 60s US issue of the 1965 8-track stereo LP, on a black Impulse label with red rim & rainbow boxed logo & 'Van Gelder' stamped in the run-outs. This was a fine star session from the Ellington splinter group, including the sax-attack of Harold Ashby & Paul Gonsalves. This second press is housed in one of the first batch heavyweight pasted & laminated gatefold sleeves with 'stereo' stickers front & back & ABC/Dunhill inner. The cover is stunning near mint & the vinyl excellent with minimal sign of play AS-89)
