THE MIKE SAMMES SINGERS with THE RICHMOND STRINGS The Music Of America 1776 - 1976 (1976 UK 41-track LP, A very clever collection charting the history of American music, split under different titles such as The Spirituals, The Old West, New Orleans (Ragtime Era) and American Finale plus many more, textured and embossed gatefold picture sleeve with integral twenty page booklet illustrated by Bryan Chalker, which also includes the history of the songs and manuscripts of music featured on the album. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear and some age discoloration not uncommon with this type of sleeve, the vinyl remains near 'as new' with few signs of play RTD2016)
