VARIOUS Coxsone's Music (The First Recordings Of Sir Coxsone The Downbeat 1960-62) (Sealed 2015 UK 46-track 2-LP vinyl set, compiling the best of the early recordings produced by Clement Dodd in the years before he launched Studio One, ranging from early Jamaican proto-ska, rhythm & blues, jazz, rastafari & gospel music from the likes of Don Drummond, Clancy Eccles, The Mellow Cats & Count Ossie, Roland Alphonso & more. These recordings were originally released on tiny indie labels set up by Coxsone & are brought together for the first time. Both parts are factory sealed in colour coded hype stickers packed with fascinating information from the ever reliable Soul Jazz Records SJRLP323)
