STATUS QUO Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo (2009 UK Deluxe Edition 46-track digitally remastered Double CD album set. Originally released on the 27th September 1968, and reaching #12 in the UK album charts, the debut album by the British psychedelic rock group, Status Quo. The album features the singles Pictures of Matchstick Men along with its b-side Gentleman Joe's Sidewalk Café [originally intended to be the A-side], Black Veils of Melancholy, Ice in the Sun and Technicolour Dreams. This edition features both the original mono remixed & stereo mixes, along with a collection of unreleased material including BBC sessions and single b-sides; fold-out digipak picture sleeve with a picture booklet containing brand new sleeve notes by David Wells, rare photos and memorabilia, within the 'Deluxe Edition' slipcase)
