BUDDY DE FRANCO QUINTET Cooking The Blues (1958 US original 6-track deep groove mono LP on a black & silver 'trumpeter' label, a gorgeous, blues-nourished date with Sonny Clark, Tal Farlow, Gene Wright & Bobby White, recorded just before Buddysettled on the West Coast. The pasted picture sleeve has lost none of its prettiness, with all text legible apart from the centre spine - there is some paper loss here & a 1" paper split in the top opening edge, & otherwise intact & very nice. The vinyl is super clean & Excellent to near mint with little evidence of play MGV-8221)
