VARIOUS The Big Bands Of Europe (Sealed 1967 US 24-track double vinyl LP compilation, featuring rare & undated recordings of contemporary big band jazz filtering out of Europe at the time, showcasing the orchestras of Vic Lewis, Ib Glindemann,Kurt Edelhagen & Ted Heath. Glindermann's group includes compositions by Sahib Shihab & performances by the great Alan Botschinsky, Ole Molin & Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen. Ted Heath's group at this time starred the great Ike Issacs, JohnnyHawksworth & Stan Tracey amongst many others. This is an unopened archive copy direct from Vic Lewis' own personal collection LP-2705)
