LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS Lightnin' Hopkins (1959 US 10-track mono LP on a deep groove blue & silver Folkways label, recorded at 2803 Hadley St., Houston, Texas that year by Samuel B. Charters using grass roots Ampex Equipment with an EV 636 microphone, housed in a heavy duty pasted sleeve with the rare fold-out album notes insert. The sleeve does display foxing to the front image but otherwise remains a strong example with no splits or tears, with all text legible. The heavyweight vinyl is clean & shows some cosmetic wear not affecting play. A strong VG example of this Lightnin' treasure FS3822)
